14. Scriptural Basis For Children’s Ministry

There are over 1400 scriptures in the Bible about children. We begin to understand why there were so many when we understand the questionable attitudes and mindsets of the people of the ancient world about children. This session deeply examines those cultures and why the Bible, especially Jesus, spoke so much about them. Both Jew and Gentile, when they came together as One New Man in the newly formed Christian faith, had to change a lot of their thinking to align with God’s attitude towards children. This message then instructs us on what our attitudes need to be today as well.
